I wanted to thank everyone who responded to my question on Friday about developing a physical Records Management database. I received a ton of feedback (much of it sent to the entire list) which is extremely helpful (many suggested Access as a potential solution which was an option we were strongly considering). The feedback contained not only ideas about how to approach the challenge at a high level, but also items to plan for at a more micro level.
As always, I can't state emphatically enough about how beneficial the list serve is due completely to the community of records professionals who contribute.
Many, many thanks!
