Wayne, you said " I tried looking up your books Fred, and I think something in my brain broke." Maybe it's just "Friday fever." To me, an intensely-interesting issue in RIM is risk. The Black Swan is about risk. More specifically, the unpredictable and low-probability risk which, when it hits, has huge consequences.

I've never been a Simpsons fans, however, so the reference to "Fat Tonyism" escapes me completely. Your turn to elucidate....

I thought the Great White North these days was more fire-red.
