The Records Management function reported up through Legal until it was moved under Compliance in 2005.

I know this has been discussed many times in the past but I was hoping to get some fresh perspective from you all on where your RIM groups sit in the organization.  Compliance?  Legal?  IT?  Stand Alone Function? Elsewhere?
