I am kind of stunned about some of what everyone is talking about happening on Linkedin. Jesse mentioned "the political posts, the jokes, the sob stories, etc." I must be really of the loop since all of those aspects are news to me.  I think it's a very "needy" site/app - endorse these people for this and that, add this to your profile, have you done this?, do you know these people? It's certainly the least favorite site that I use.
