Please join ARMA NOVA Chapter for our October meeting. Our chapter theme
this year is “Building Success Through Relationships.” People, Process &
Technology – learn the steps to success for your organization’s business
information!

Today, working in the world of Records Management and Information Governance
requires interaction with stakeholders throughout your organization, with
multiple stakeholders in Legal, IT, Compliance, HR, Privacy, and Risk
Management, as well as with others from all levels of the organization up to
the Chief or CEO. Sometimes the conversations are not easy – organizational
perspectives differ, stakes are high with the cost of new technologies or
the risk of non-compliance, emotions run strong and you have to work
effectively as a team. So how do top performers handle situations when
conversations become crucial? It won’t matter how great your initiative is
if you cannot communication your message or build effective relationships
with your stakeholders and partners.

This session presented by Doug Hensch, President of DRHGroup, a firm
specializing in leadership development, corporate training and executive
coaching, will introduce you to some of the techniques offered in the
training curriculum for “Crucial Conversations” that you can use to help
prepare you for your next important conversation at work and in your
personal life.
After the session, ARMA NOVA will raffle off a couple of copies of “Crucial
Conversations” and a copy of Doug Hensch’s recently published book,
“Positively Resilient – 5-1/2 Secrets to Beat Stress, Overcome Obstacles,
and Defeat Anxiety.”
