You may also want to factor in the soft cost savings of increased 
information security.  When there is a recycle bin as well as a shred bin, 
there's a risk that sensitive information (personal info, health info, 
proprietary info, etc.) is put into the recycle bin, which makes it more open 
to inappropriate access.

How to put a value on that is the trick; sorry I don't have any guidance for 
you there.
