Last week Robert Smallwood agreed to write a new book on Information
Governance (IG) in healthcare for AHIMA, the American Health Information
Management Association.

"Information Governance for Healthcare Professionals" will be Smallwood's
seventh book on IG topics since 2008.

It will be written in a manner to simplify and clarify IG concepts for
healthcare professionals, and to provide Best Practices and proven
strategies for successful IG implementations. It will be available in mid-2017.

So that you may make appropriate selections of IG resources for your
corporate or professional library, below is a summary of Smallwood's
previous 6 books on IG topics, (in reverse order of publication):

- Introduction to Information Governance (Bacchus Business, 2016)
- Information Governance for Executives: Fundamentals & Strategies (2016)
- Information Governance: Concepts, Strategies, and Best Practices (Wiley, 2014)
- Managing Electronic Records: Methods, Best Practices, and Technologies
(Wiley, 2013)
- Safeguarding Critical E-documents: Implementing a Program for Securing
Confidential Information Assets (Wiley, 2012)
- Taming the Email Tiger: Email Management for Compliance, Governance, &
Litigation Readiness (Bacchus Business Books, 2008).
