George - A thoughtful commentary on today's society. My initial reaction is: It will always be in the best interest of legitimate organizations operating legitimately to retain accurate and truthful records. Auditors, regulators, litigation discovery will always be there to sort of hold their feet to the fire. Illegitimate organizations have always existed, and some legitimate organizations have committed unlawful acts. And often, I suppose, they get away with it at least for a time. But controls in our society - law enforcement, regulators, etc. catch up with them eventually most of the time.
