Gary, Ginny thank you for your responses.

Gary - You raise a good point on legitimate orgs putting up a firewall
against the outside misinformation. I guess an example of my point would be:
a sloppy marketing clerk cites a bogus source, and their trusting manager
rubber stamps a piece for public release. Not out of the realm of
possibility, but as you indicate, low probability in a clean org.

Ginny - Absolutely right: we need to archive fake news, pretty or not, as
part of our cultural heritage.
