I propose that any email, text etc that is sent have a check box to
identify that the message is indeed a record that contains transactional
information regarding the organization's business.  Only those emails will
be retained after xx days in either the sender's or receiver's box -
Goodbye to the garbage of all the unchecked messages.

Surely our brilliant technology developers can figure out how to make this
work.  Let's focus our attention on creating records rather than storing
garbage - kinda like keeping the garbage from Christmas dinner so we can go
back and look at it in twenty years to remember what we served or ate.  Oh,
no, now the archaeologists are going to blast me:)
