If you're only interested in retention management requirements, you could pick out the relevant sections of ISO 16175-2 (Principles and functional requirements for records in electronic office environments -- Part 2: Guidelines and functional requirements for digital records management systems) or the Moreq2010 specification.

The outcome of such testing would be depressing -- or laughable, depending on your outlook -- in most cases.
