record keeping obligations attached to them.  Therefore, a necessary part
of that compliance burden is ensuring that records and electronic data are
managed prudently and in conformance with both legal obligations and sound
commercial practice.  An audit process to ensure these thing therefore
becomes part of the compliance equation.  This session will examine the
concept of records audits in the context of developing an overall sound
governance process for information, particularly as it relates to legal
compliance obligations.
