I used to live in North Dakota, so anytime Colorado gets snow like this,
I get a little homesick.
I love the snow! 28 inches in Broomfield!

Final tally in my front yard 15 min from Denver Intl Airport: 23"
Highest free-standing drifts in my yard: 5 1/2 feet
Clearing a path with a cracked shovel in case we have to order in for
the
soon-to-be-newborn: priceless.
...and for those of you who take an interest in such matters, this means
the
skiing will be extraordinary this year, especially for ski resorts like
Winter Park and A-Basin. Generally we don't get socked like this, so
once
they reopen DIA tomorrow (6th-busiest airport in the US!) c'mon down. :)
