*Collier **Campbell announce plans for design archive*
**

London, 28 February 2008 – The ground breaking British designers Susan
Collier and Sarah Campbell announced that they are seeking interested
parties for the proposed sale of the back catalogue, copyright, and archives
of Collier Campbell.

Their archive contains a unique and remarkable collection of original
designs and visual concepts spanning nearly five decades and represents the
result of over 275.5 person years of design time.

It is a tribute to the power and beauty of hand and eye coordination –
spontaneous and personal, yet with universal appeal. The process is
thoroughly documented; it is a rare record of the continuous development and
consistency of original design. It includes*:*

* *

• Over 30,000 sketches, illustrations and photographs of which 22,000 are
paintings on paper as yet unused.

• Approximately 9,000 original designs in repeat including copyrights and
patents, ready for product conversion and manufacture.

• Detailed studio process records.

• Samples of related designs and products, including fabric.

• Client records relating to design and product conversion.

Susan Collier said "Our iconic works are recognized best sellers whose names
are far more well known than our own. We are looking for a buyer who will
be able to exploit the archive's enormous commercial potential via its
intellectual property rights and bring the designs to the widest audience."

Sarah Campbell said: "As is our habit we are focusing the ongoing
creativity of the studio on our current clients, lectures and workshops."

The studio, led by Susan Collier and Sarah Campbell will continue to develop
designs and brands for leading retail and distribution companies globally.
