The International Association of Privacy Professionals IAPP
https://www.privacyassociation.org/ will hold their annual summit in
Washington DC at the Renaissance Washington hotel from March 26-28. The
conference link is http://www.privacysummit.org/ The pre-conference CIPP
training is on March 26 from 8 am to 5 pm. This will review the body of
knowledge for the examination.

The exam will be given March 28, 2008 at the summit. There are no
qualifications for the exam. 

 

The exam covers five subject areas:

 

I.                     Privacy Law and Compliance

II.                   Workplace Privacy

III.                  Information Security

IV.                Web Privacy and Security

V.                  Data Sharing and Transfer

 

The exam period is two hours and I believe there were 125 questions. 70%
is required to pass.
