Well, I thought "information" only existed if and when you actually USED
"data" for something. Or was that "wisdom", maybe I'm getting confused by
too much exposure to KM. Because of quantum.

But seriously, I've seen a perfectly valid continuum something like: data -
content - information - knowledge - wisdom.  The choice of model depends on
the purpose you have in mind.

But regardless, I can't see any equivalence between content and information.
Content is just stuff in a system, information implies some sort of
organisation, or some sort of purpose, maybe both. Neither has anything to
do with the status of its records attribute.
