New Web Seminar: Bridge the Communication Gap Between RIM and IT

Title: I Say Data, You Say Daata
Facilitator: Pamela Danner
Registration Deadline: April 4, 2008
Asynchronous Web Seminar: April 7, 2008 - April 15, 2008
Live Teleconference: 12:00 p.m. (CST), April 15, 2008

Don't miss your opportunity to join Pamela Danner for "I Say Data, You
Say Daata," ARMA International's next web seminar.

Traditionally, IT practitioners have thought of information purely as
data. After viewing this web seminar, records managers will better
understand issues that resonate with IT. This web seminar will discuss
how to communicate through effective and mutually beneficial dialog
between the RIM and IT practitioner. Tips will be shared on how to
assist IT in moving beyond data capacity and performance planning into
an effective partnership with RIM practitioners regarding electronic
records.

Upon completion of this web seminar, participants will be able to:

1.	Revise the belief that information is purely data
2.	Identify how RIM and IT functions are closely related
3.	Initiate effective communication to improve the information
management process
4.	Implement communication strategies to encourage collaboration
between RIM and IT

View this web seminar any time during April 7 - 15, 2008, and then
participate in the Ask the Expert teleconference on April 15, 2008 at
noon (CST).

To participate, you MUST register by April 4, 2008!

All,

I need your help-the little grey cells don't operate the way they used
to. Was there an ARMA webinar or article or some other training
material relating to training IT folks about RIM? I thought I just saw
something recently but can't recall now. Thanks from your memory
challenged colleague.
