Doug raises an excellent point. Singing to the choir ie the listserv does
nothing, but posting a comment to a story pointing out errors etc does
wonders. Journalists are not all knowing. They only know what they are told.
If they report an error then point out why they are in error as well as
pointing them to the correct information.. You'll be surprised at what
happens.

Virtually all online news stories have a link where you can leave a comment,
and if not they at least have a means for contacting the journalist or the
publication
