Hi Peter,

We are currently thinking that the issues on the records management side of
things are mostly going to be related to the volume of records. We believe
that staying on top of things like accessioning, preservation, migration,
and disposition will be an ever-growing problem for records managers working
in offices where records are increasingly produced electronically.

On the archival side of things, we thought that digitization might be more
of an issue. Archivists have an interest in making records available to a
wider audience than just those who can visit the repository, so it is in
their best interest to digitize as many records as possible. Of course,
once that is done they will face similar issues of preservation, migration,
etc.

We are very interested to hear what those working in the field think the
major issues are, though, so any ideas you can share would be greatly
appreciated!
