To our company, backup tapes are copies of the official record and are not
to be kept any longer than the retention period of the business record.
Our ongoing issue are system snapshots (blanket backup of everything)
greater than 2 weeks old.

Does anyone else keep the backup tapes greater than two weeks?

Best Practices for Backup Tape

Hello Folks,
I would like to know if someone is dealing with backup tape issues on
records management program, so I can share her/his experiences how to
resolve a lot of backup tape within the company that want to achieve a
correct records management program.
in one word: What will be the best practice or strategy to dealing with
Backup tape (old/Current)??
Any ideas will be very appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Have a wonderful Fourth July
