With a shout-out to Twitter, which gave me moment by moment updates from
friends and loved one's in Southern California and around the world - gave
me near instantaneous info on magnitude and epicenter -  while cell phones
were down and overloaded, and we had evacuated from our offices.

Pretty decent shaker (5.4 or 5.8) in the South Land today, just wanted to
take a roll call and make sure everyone was okay...

This is why we have disaster preparedness drills, right???
