Todd,
We have a Records Management Team that includes representation from
Legal, Audit, Finance, HR, Operations, and IT. We meet monthly, and I'm
in the process of developing a charter of our Team to present at our
next meeting. They really don't have any authority per se, but they do
provide valuable input on major initiatives, issues, and other RM
concerns that we face. I treat them to a nice lunch for our 2-hour
meetings, and that seems to help provide incentive for attendance and
feedback too.

Has anyone out there in Records land established a 'governance board' or
records policy approval committee? If so, who did you include as
members, what authority were they granted and how often do you meet as a
team/board/committee.
