Let me be one of undoubtedly many individuals that very much thank Mike for the years of dedication he put into creating the high quality publication that ARMA has today. For those of us that remember the Records Management Quarterly (predecessor of the IMJ), I can say without reservation that he turned a frog into a prince. That is not to say that the ARMA staff and other contributors were not very important in the transition. However, Mike's single minded dedication to have the IMJ address challenging issues, assure a professional level of authorship, and guarantee quality in content were the driving force over many years that transitioned the IMJ into the status of being a widely respected professional publication.

The Records Management profession undoubtedly experienced an increased level of respect and influence because of his efforts, and we all benefited from his contributions.

Thanks Mike!

John

Subject: Help?

Folks,

My 10 year run as Executive Editor of the Information Management Journal (IMJ) ended December 31, 2008. They are "going in a new direction." I wish them well.

However, Ive learned a lot, contributed heavily to the journals content, and focused on the quality process. Now, Im seeking new editorial opportunities.

If you know of an organization with editing projectsId like to send them my editorial resume for review. As we do not use attachments here, I can send it only to those who request it and to those whose contact information you send me.

I will also appreciate your good thoughts and suggestions.

Mike
