I would just add that a disposition log can be useful, that is, a file 
that cumulatively notes that policies and procedures were followed for a 
particular record series or other classification of records, physical or 
electronic.

And Chris, perhaps you could remind me and other readers what your 
abbreviations/acronyms stand for.  Thanks.
