Back in the late 1990s  there was a massive records center fire in Pa. Two
companies sued the vendor. They were awarded damages not for the value of
the records but rather for the cost of recreating the records that were
lost. IIRC one of the plaintiffs was able to prove that the cost to
recreate one box was over $10,000.

so rather than insuring for the value you might consider insuring for the
cost to recreate the records if lost.

ah now the name comes to Diversified Records, in Pennsylvania
