Everyone,
I am new to this group and new to records management. I have been in my
position for 6 months and really enjoying the world of records. Who knew
boxes of information could be so fulfilling? I know I never did till now.
From the recent ARMA conference I can say that my company is an "infant" in
the management of its records. We are looking to make the big leap to
imaging, or the "adult" phase as I call it, without any audit of where we are
today. I can already see there are gaps in our program and know there are
probably more hidden in the stacks. What I am looking to do is audit our
program. As I am new to this, can you give me any pointers or lead me in a
direction to get an audit written and performed? I just don't want to make
the big leap and have our gaps turn into the Grand Canyon.
Thanks,
Lisa Herrmann
