I've had several mentors along the rocky road of my RIM career.  My first mentor was Ed Evans at Sikorsky Aircraft who taught me microfilm from the DOD point of view (VERY specific and quality oriented). Joe Halpin, the New Mexico State Records Administrator for many years, taught me the rest of records management principles.  I also count Don Avedon as a mentor since he got me heavily involved in AIIM and ISO standards development.
