Hi Tina,
You have described a situation that many Records Managers have experienced
- no collaboration or sharing from IT.  It sounds like you know your
preferred career change into Information Architecture, but until you find
that opportunity have you considered what you might be able to do to
influence or build a strong collaboration of Records and Information
Management with IT, Security/Risk, Compliance, Privacy etc?  During this
process you may discover your next career move.

If you would just like to talk and bounce ideas around let me know.  I'd be
