Hello all,

I've been in the background for quite some time and this is my first posting, so bear with me. My question I have for you all is this: we here at my law firm just had the lead file clerk leave after 3 years. Now all of her responsibilities and knowledge has been passed to me, but with that I have a lot of gaps in what I can do and what I know how to do.  We just recently ran into a situation where attorneys are looking for specific files and I don't know where she put them. What programs or software do you use to keep these events from happening and what would you say is the biggest way you keep track of the many, many files you work with day to day?
