Totally agree with Lee- It seemed to be a simpler time for youth- before hovering/pushy parents and all of our time being programmed for us.  The music scene was great and the local law enforcement would after they stopped you either give a ride or follow to see if you arrived safe. No jail, Tasers and weapons for the most part.

I'm sure it was also a time though where we had the blinders on  but it seems to me we need to find some type of compromise to get back to simpler lives.

I will now go take off my Ruby slippers
