While I'd like people who don't really like driving, and would much rather be texting or doing anything else, to have a self driving car, I wouldn't want one. I belong to a car club, and I really enjoy driving in my sports car with it's sport tuned suspension and high performance tires, over sized brakes, etc.

I have to disagree with Katy, who thinks she can react faster than a machine. It just ain't so! One of the reasons super exotic sports cars will all be automatics in the future (according to Ferrari's chief designer) is because their engines are becoming so powerful that the slow reaction time of a human driver would cause a catastrophic failure of the clutch system.
