I received a card in the mail advertising a webinar from Mobius.  The card says "Managing Retention:  It's Not Just About Records Anymore!".  The webinar is on March 16, 2006 @ 11:00AM Eastern Time.  To register, go to http://livemeeting.viewcentral.com/reg/mobius/031606

They are saying that "Enterprise content is growing as much as 200% a year and the risk of mismanaging its retention and disposition are growing even faster."

The point in making these comments is.....they really believe that because the information is on a computer that it is not a record.  How many times do they need to be hit in the head with a baseball bat before they start to realize what a record is?  A computer is only a tool to manipulate information.... information that makes up records.

There!!!! That is my soapbox for today.
