I agree, not an uncommon practice. The vendors support the
association. They want to get their message to you. I suspect that the
hotel staff were the ones who placed the collateral on the bed and not
the vendor directly.
similar to the roomkey at the Marriott carrying an OpenText message.
see that worked I remembered the vendor on the roomkey.
