Folks
a nasty habit is slowly infecting the listserv. Many posters are
failing to edit their replies before they post to the list. Some of
the replies are only 1 or 2 lines long and yet they retain several
previously messages.

this looks ugly to the folks who receive the digest. they are forced
to reread the same messages over and over again. The size of the
digest increases greatly and some systems will block deliver of very
large digest issues.

soooooo lets review the etiquette

1. one line replies thanking an individual are nice BUT please
remember to send them directly to the individual and not to the entire
list.

2. when replying remember to edit out the previous messages. keep only
what is key to your response. it takes only a few momemts to edit your
reply before hitting the send button

thanks
