Apologies for the late notice, but I *just* realized the AIIM piece of this
at least hadn't gone out. 
 
1. The AIIM Rocky Mountain Chapter will meet tomorrow, November 8 at the
Four Points by Sheraton, 6363 E. Hampden Ave in Denver (NE corner of I-25
and Hampden Ave).
 
What: Electronic Privacy: The Oxymoron 

Session Description: 
Mr. Dubois is a practicing trial attorney in the area of electronic privacy.
He successfully defended the author of Pretty Good Privacy, Mr. Phil
Zimmerman, in an investigation by the federal government. Mr. Dubois will
discuss the very real and ongoing threats to your privacy in the digital
world. He will cite current instances and their implications to your
business and personal life and will discuss how difficult this issue will
remain for all of us because of the regulatory, legal, and technical matrix
in which we live. 

If you have ever been concerned about your personal and organizational
privacy in today's world and would like to hear a practitioner's assessment
and advice, this seminar is for you.

Addie Mattox, Partner of @doc
 
"Electronic Records Management Case Studies" 

Presentation Abstract: The presentation focuses on the issues surrounding
managing electronic records in two companies: a mortgage loan company and a
retail organization. Ms. Mattox will discuss the compliance issues each
organization faces and the solutions. She will provide details about the
requirements analysis completed for each company and how they have
approached implementation. 

Speaker Bio: Addie Maddox is an industry pioneer in the use of technology to
manage information. She is a frequent and always entertaining speaker at
technical conferences (AIIM, MER, IDC) and is consulted by members of the
trade press on industry trends. She is the co-author of AIIM's white paper
on Bringing the Business Case for Document Management to Management. Addie's
MBA is from Pepperdine University. Her graduate degree in English as a

Information Nation Warrior: Information Management Compliance Bootcamp. The
