Aloha Linda,
I would advise your friend to check with the ABA (American Banking
Association) as there is currently a Banking Records Management working
group addressing the issues referenced...

Subject: RM for banking industry
Good morning venerable colleagues,
I am sending this for a friend who is not a listserve subscriber:
My colleague works for the banking industry and is implementing an ECM
in order to become compliant shortly. She'd appreciate any guidance
regarding banking regulations as she is new in this industry.
Thanks to you all.
Linda Buss
