Elite is a dog that won't hunt. Even some Elite exec's will admit that
records management is not a focus of the firm and never will be. It is
an also ran in their suite of products. Their own literature shows that
more than half the time law firms that are selecting records software at
the same time as they are selecting accounting software (Elite's
strength) DON'T pick their records software. I used Elite for records
management for 2.5 years and I personally find all the other products
you mentioned to be better.

Subject: [RM] Elite Records Manager Module

Is it me or is Elite's Records Manager module as clunky and outdated
(even the newer versions) as I think it is? I have been tryingn to use
the RMS and it keeps undercutting me. I cannot sort reports the way I
like, it's difficult to impossible to select data for queries and
reports, not to mention viewing and functionailty seems like it is more
for a database designer than records staff. It makes me feel like I'm
using a homegrown Paradox database, warts and all.

Someone (who does not for for Thomson Elite) please tell me it's as
good, if not better, than LegalKey, Accutrac, FileSurf or the rest of
the competition
