This is just my 2 cents on this.  I would ask that Peter at least give some consideration to my suggestion.  I believe that the best and fairest solution all around is the establishment of a subscription service at perhaps $50/year to anyone interested.  That way people would get the information where they want it and Peter would get some compensation for his troubles.
