a power generation company in need of a seasoned leader to work with a staff
of 5. This person needs to have experience with Documentum and SharePoint.

They need an outgoing records management professional with 8-10 years of
experience. They are willing to assist with relocation for the right
candidate. Please take a look at the following description and let me know
if you are interested.

§ Responsible for the records management and supporting
§ Experience with "Documentum" software
§ Develops, implements, and enforces org. policies on records management,
retention and storage.
§ Ensures procedures are in place for appropriate document control and
compliance.
§ Develops record management programs to optimize approaches in safe and
secure record-keeping while cutting costs, reducing storage space and
maintaining compliance with applicable state and/or federal regulations.
§ Maintains relationships with management system and off-site facility
vendors.
§ Maintains awareness of the newest guidelines and regulations for records
management and document retention to prevent litigation and org's exposure
to risk.
§ Manages multiple department functions with an operational focus.
§ Manages activities of broad functional area through first level management
and professionals, including full human resources, cost and budgetary
accountability.
§ Decisions typically related to implementation of department strategy,
intradepartmental coordination, and business outcomes.
§ Results have significant impact on costs and achievement of department
objectives.
§ Identifies opportunities which make a significant difference to the
performance of multiple department functions and possibly organization-wide
impact.
Makes decisions for large-scale projects, a closely related set of projects
and/or initiatives involving multiple functional areas.
Establishes operational objectives for multiple functions including work
plans and delegating assignments to subordinate managers and senior
professionals.
§ Works within broad guidelines; applies advanced technical knowledge of
multiple functions to solve complex problems which may have long-term impact
on the department.
§ Manages multiple functions within a department with responsibility for
results in terms of costs, methods, and employees.
§ Responsible for performance reviews, promotional decisions, and pay
actions for professionals and management.
§ Bachelor's Degree prefers Master's Degree.
§ Previous management experience in records managements.
§ Typically requires minimum of 10 years in area of specialization
overseeing a records management program.
§ Experience in EMC documentation product.
§ Implemented a company-wide record retention schedule in EMC documentation
§ Relo eligible
