I don't know of any citation but wisdom would be that you should redact the
account number.   Anyone can find an ABA # and redacting that would do
nothing as the bank name is on the check, too.   But eliminating the account
number would cut considerably down on the chances of fraud and some
dishonest employee picking up BOTH the account # and bank routing.
