Texas Editorial Open-Records Madness
The Texas Supreme Court treated the Public Information Act like a
doormat with a decision last week that walls off more publicly held
information from public view. The decision makes birth dates of state
employees confidential, which grants anonymity to some people who
warrant scrutiny.
