Looks like it's been recreated a number of times, initially a DOS based
system that was rewritten for Windows. I have no personal experience with
it, but it appears it was designed for use in manufacturing environments.

From what I read (brief perusal) it sounds as if you may be stretching its
capabilities to achieve some of what you're after with this software... but
I guess a primary consideration would be "If it does what you want it to do
now, do you want it to do more?" and then work with MANEDGE to find out
where it's able to go.
