Hello everyone, and thank you so much for those who have responded to my previous question about File Classification Index.

I have another question please:  We have a proposal to change our functional, alpha numberic system index to a file Classification Index that is divided into 2 groups, Knowledge and Transactions. Knowledge would have such records as policies, procedures etc. and Transactions would have business transactions. Each group would have Record Types, and File classes. I am finding this challenging and wonder if anyone has implemented such a File index and what issues I should consider.

Regards,

Madeleine Manoukian
