Ross County wins missing records suit
Judge Alan Travis' decision, rendered May 25 and officially entered into the
record this week, mostly centers around the interpretation of what makes
someone in a missing records case an "aggrieved person" -- one of the
burdens of proof for a plaintiff in a public records lawsuit. In other
words, whether the missing records resulted in infringement or denial of the
legal rights of the person bringing the lawsuit.
