PARIS TN: Henry County Archive documents’ fate in limbo
Ceiling tiles in the room gave way, dumping water into the area where
200-year-old files are stored.

“Fortunately when the roof fell in, it fell in between rows,” Dunlap said.

While no papers were damaged by the leak, both Dunlap and Stephanie Tayloe,
head archivist, said humidity and water are the biggest threats to antique
documents.
