Ah, good, old microfiche.   Generating microfiche was how I got my start in records management in the 1970s (computer output microfilm) and the 1980s. (mylar jackets with 16mm microfilm strips inserted)

worse is internal required training (intellectual property, privacy
whatever) that is set up in such a way that you can't advance the slides at your pace. They time the training for an hour and you have to watch it for an hour
