The conference sessions are a part of attendance/registration at the ARMA Conference, so it shouldn't be so hard to find...
Like many, I do wonder why the conference rate went up to $1500 and yet, the content offerings were reduced (in my opinion). With many competing conferences, we all have to look at what gives us the "most" for our educational/budgetary dollars. Before, with the ARMA Conferences priced under $1,000, it was a BARGAIN to attend and get the many educational/networking benefits. Sadly, the ARMA conference is priced the same as it's competitors and now, it is "debatable" whether it's the best use of educational funds to attend...
Add to the problem, the expensive venues (i.e. it will be held in DC next), the motivation and reasons for attending ARMA conferences has gone down...
That being said, I know that ARMA needs to be "solvent" and the conferences continues to be a major revenue generator, but it can't lose sight of what made the conferences so attractive to attend...I know that some folks lamented about the absence of the Canadian party and other networking events at the SD conference. For some, that is a fair critique, as "networking" with peers is perhaps, one of the biggest value for attendees...
