Greetings Records Managers! Although new to records management (and to architecture/engineering/construction drawings) I have been an information professional (aka academic reference/corporate librarian, archivist) in Chicago for many years. As a solo who is charged with organizing the engineering drawings at the Chicago Transit Authority, I thank you in advance for answering the questions that I will be posting to this list!

Question # 1: Is there a resource that tells the years that CDRoms/tapes/USBs/Zipdrives etc. were used to store electronic files? I have hard-copy drawings from 1992 that could have been stored electronically and I'm hoping to narrow the search down by media type.
