Hello,
I am new to this list, and this is my first post. I am the Electronic
Records Manager for a publicly traded utility in Wisconsin. I joined the
company earlier in 2014, and around the same time our company kicked off
its ECM project. My primary role is to help develop governance plans, and
to design and implement a records center in SharePoint 2013. We will be
using a third-party tool to fill gaps in SharePoint records center out of
the box. My question is geared toward organizations that are actively
managing or attempting to manage their electronic content and records. How
large is your RIM staff in proportion to the size of your organization and
the volume of records you are responsible for managing? As a utility, we
are subject to numerous regulations and we continue to generate many
records on paper. We have a small staff dedicated to managing the paper
side, and at this point we are trying to determine what is needed on the
electronic side in terms of manpower.
Thank you,
Allison Coshenet
