Susan Beamer mentions Dicks in Spokane. There is also Dicks in Seattle. I don't think they'e run by the same family. Good stuff though.
I seldom eat fried foods. Seldom = once a year. But when I do, the fish sandwich at Tacoma's Frisko Freeze has my vote. Must be accompanied by onion rings.http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/1/1237553/restaurant/Seattle/Frisko-Freeze-Tacoma
If I'm doing the frying, it'll be beer batter dipped prawns from the Hood Canal and made from scratch sweet potato fries. Oil heated to the proper temperature keeps the food(s) from being greasy.
Rock on!Sharon
